Blind Blogging

Mornin' friends! We're up early in the deer blind waiting for our next 12 point wall ornament to walk up on us! ;)

Well-he is. I'm busy, you know, writing this blog post, taking way too many random photos, enjoying my coffee and wondering what's for breakfast.

Priorities, people.

So anywho-just wanted to wish y'all a happy, healthy & safe 2012! See ya next year! (Yes. I'm in 8th grade...)

5 Bloggers I'd Booze With

In no particular order...

Katie (DUH) @
For obvious reasons but to name a few:
1. Her husband is almost as smokin' hot as mine.
2. Her love for health falls so much in line with what I'm passionate about.
3. We're both lefties. (Who doesn't wanna booze with a lefty?)
4. I'm convinced she could give my wardrobe a complete 180 w/ her fashion sense.
5. She's hysterical. And random. And such a wonderful friend already.
2012...clearly it's happening.

Raven @
Who am I kidding?! Raven just might be the ultimate person to booze with. Her endless stories of her kids spilling vodka/OJ on her Mac, how she parties with Britney on the reg and how her husband absolutely despises being in vlogs....you get mah drift...sister gets down with her bad self. Not to mention, looks pretty damn good in a pink bob!  ;)
***
Lindsey @
Fellow Texan right hurr!!! I'll set aside the fact that she's a Red Raider and just say she has some LE-GIT stories from NOLA so I know homegirl can get down with the best of 'em. Not to mention, her baby nephew, Reese, and I are destined for one another. Sorry, Beau, but have you SEEEEEEN his baby blues?!
***
Caroline @
Those Kentucky girls...gotta love 'em! And that Southern (did I say "Southern") accent melts mah friggin' heart. Caroline is probably one of THEE most hysterical bloggers I've ever dreamed of sharing a few adult bevvies with so I can only imagine how many calories would be burned from laughing at her relentless stories of her, her husband, his baby fever, their undying love for their cats and God knows what other shenanigans. Carol...make it happen.
 ***
Hellllllllo??!!! Who wouldn't wanna take a few back with a Lil' Wayne lovin', rap singin', videotapin', Zumba obsessed Bostonian like Erica??????? Seriously. There's not a week that goes by where I don't receive multiple videos of Erica singing the latest Lil' Wayne song while she drives to Zumba. She may or may not be my favorite lil' gangsta. ;)

First round is on me girls. Let's do this thing!

Go ahead and flatter me by saying myself but if you could booze with any bloggers, who would it be any why?!

Remember when...

...you saw me in my pj's with absolutely no make-up on?

...Beau and I kissed 5 million times on camera for your viewing pleasure?

...I bawled my eyes out over one of the most thoughtful gifts I've ever received?

...I was that super cheesy wife who videotaped our entire first Christmas?
(I can only imagine the mad videotaping that will go on when we have kids...)

My sweet, sweet necklace from Katie that reads:
"M.J. I carry you in my heart"
 M.J. are my dad's initials.

...which would explain why the tears were flowin'.

I hope your Christmas was as memorable and filled with love as mine was.

My my my...

Maybe it's the time of year.
Maybe it's because I'm realizing I've reached a quarter of a century in age.
Maybe it's because my husband is out of town [uh-gain] and I have nothing better to do than think these little random thoughts in this ol' noggin of mine.

Either way, as I sit here thinking about my life and all that has been going on lately, I can't help but think about how the times have changed.

My my my...how the times have changed.

Where I used to be known to bump Nelly and Big Moe on my commutes, my morning routine now consists of the sweet, sexy (did I say seksy?!) sounds of Michael Buble.

Instead of cussing out some chick for looking at me the wrong way, I found myself dropping F bombs towards my insurance agent today. Sorryimnotsorry.

Rather than spending all day thinking about what bar I'll be hitting up this Thursday night, I've already made arrangements with the treadmill and a weight bench.

While most girls get excited about the newest outfit they've just scored, I get excited about receiving 12 Christmas cards in the mail in just one day.

Instead of taking an all girl's trip to Vegas for the weekend while Beau is out of town hunting for the umpteenth time this year, I'd prefer to spend it out in the country, in a city I couldn't even find on a map, with 3 of my closest sorority sisters and their babies chattin' around the campfire and passing out before midnight.

The last thing that made me cry wasn't a spat I had with my husband. It was the card I opened last night asking me to be the Godmother of my sorority sister's youngest bambino, Magnolia.

And the thing that thrills me the most about this time of year is not the gifts. It's finally waking up next to my husband, in our house, drinking our coffee, seeing our stockings hanging and starting our very own traditions.

While all these things might not be perfect for every other girl out there, they seem to be working out just fine for me right now.

And when I sit back and think about it...I wouldn't want it any other way.

So we might as well embrace change. It's inevitable.
Change is good.

And since I know you're all dying to see this sweet Goddaughter of mine...
Tell me that's not the face of an angel   0:)
(hers...not mine...)
 Practice makes perfect ;)

I hope you all have a blessed day & a very Merry Christmas.
xoxo

Don't even try to argue with this...

These guys have undoubtedly taken a few notes...

[Pretty dead on if you ask me]

Evidence from last night
