Dang The Luck

 Remember less than 5 months ago when I posted a picture of this pretty little girl:

How we drove all the way to Dallas to pick her up...
And how I went on and on and on about how excited I was to have her and how in love I am with her...and yadda yadda yadda??

If you remember correctly, I also muttered on about how 
I have had THE worst luck with vehicles...

I was not kidding.

 Poor thing...she's no different.

Last night she became Siamese Twinned with a Saturn Aura.

  Seriously?! Not even 5 months old and BAM...
She's bumperless.

Although my neck is a little sore this morning and I am thanking my lucky stars for being alive and well, I cannot tell you how much I just wanted to cry watching her be whisked away to the tow yard.

So today...I am thankfully sad.

Thankful for the fireman who kept me warm with his XXXXL coat.
Thankful for my ever-loving dependable husband who picked me up.
Thankful that the girl who hit me had insurance and nice parents.
Thankful to the man upstairs for watching over me.
  But sad, so sad, to not be driving her for a while and
Sad to have to deal with yet more car BS.

    I am so sorry that happened but so glad you are ok! I had that same car but silver and was rear ended twice. Scary since it is so little. I since got rid of it! I hope you get it back soon!

    So sad. I am glad to hear you're ok. I know how you felt watching your car get towed away. A guy ran a red light and totaled my car a few years ago and I cried like a baby when I had to go to the "car graveyard" and gather my belongings the next day.

    had the same thing happen to me and my car isn't even a year old yet! People really need to learn to pay attention on the road :(

    I literally just picked my car up from the shop at lunch. She had been there for almost a week because of 2 minor accidents. It's so annoying to deal with car stuff (like my least fave thing ever), but I'm so glad she is back and like brand new!! Thank goodness you are ok. She'll be perfect and like new in NO time.

    I know EXACTLY how you feel!!! I'm glad you're ok. remember it's just a car and can be fixed. You on the other hand can not be replaced. I had my carolla for 7yrs and NO ONE ran into me. My first car, BMW, I went and bought and did everything on my own was hit 3months later :( I was so sad and pissed. Of course when I get something nice and expensive someone with NO insurance t-boned me. Oh well!

    oh my goodness! It must be something with this car because mine was totaled when I got rear-ended a few months ago. So sad :( I hope yours can be fixed. And good thing she had good insurance. I would go to the chiropractor and get checked out. I have a really badly herniated disc from my accident. So sorry this had to happen to you. It is not fun for sure :(
