Things Most People Would Be Ashamed Of...

...but I'm not.

1. Wearing my underwear inside out all day long yesterday. Yep. It happened. I noticed sometime around 9am when I made my routine trip to the ladie's room and figured it was a waste of my time to turn them right-side-in at that point. There's only 24 hours in a day people and I only have time to put on panties once. Some people call it "lazy". I call it "efficient".

2. Legitimately signing up for theknot.com...again...as a bride. So what. It's for my best friend Ashley's wedding. You see...she's a little "anti-bride" these days and, well, we all know I'm borderline obsessed with weddings so I figured I'd take the reigns on this one. (PS: she's more than okay with this. I think?) Looks like we have 300-something days left and quite a few things to check off our list. 173 things, to be exact.

3. Paying $5 for one single pint of ice cream. Hey, it's dairy free and when you can't have milk, butter, cheese or yogurt...like EVER again...you'll pay anything for something that tastes remotely close to ice cream. This stuff=legit.

4. Tagging @TaylorSwift in every photo I took on Saturday night. It was girls night and something about tagging her in my Instagram pics made me feel like she was there.
Creepy fan award goes to...ME.

5. Duck Dynasty finally making it to my top 10 list of search keywords on this here blog. God bless those rednecks! Life=complete.
{Nevermind the "cat scratch eyebrow" comment. What is that supposed to mean, anyways?!}

Life's too darn short to be ashamed of yourself. Go out there and do something dumb. Chances are, it'll at least make for an entertaining blog post! ;)

  2. why can't you have milk, butter, cheese, or yogurt ever again??? I thought that was a temporary dieting change. Could you sometime blog about what you eat? I know you follow some rules and cut out a lot of things that a lot of people eat a lot of (did I say "a lot" enough?!). So I'm just curious about how you avoid all of those things without spending a ridiculous amount of money on groceries! I feel like I spend a ton already!

    1. I found out that dairy has been causing most of my skin issues. I've been dairy free for almost 2 months and it has made the BIGGEST difference in my skin!! I will do a food post soon...I just need to have a LOT of time to prepare for it because what I actually CAN eat is usually odd or I just eat the same thing over and over again (which a lot of people can't stand to do!) Coming soon...I promise!

  3. Hey Jack! I realize this is going to cause a bit of jealousy towards me from you but I need to let you know, I now have TWO Duck Dynasty searches in my top 10. Did I just blow your mind a little bit? @taylorswift

    1. No jealousy here. You're actually my hero for this. Maybe I should repost the "Work Hard. Nap Hard" music video so I can catch up to you...

  4. hey, have you ever made ice cream from bananas? i do not eat dairy or processed foods so i make my own every night. it is super easy and wayyyyyy good. i usually just toss a frozen banana (cut in 1/3's) into the food processor, some almond butter or chocolate almond butter, and some form of milk (usually almond or coconut). its INSANE!! if you havent had it check it out!!

    1. No-I'm not lactose intolerant but I think I have some kind of allergy to it because I finally figured out that dairy was a HUGE contributor to my acne! I've been dairy free for almost 2 months now and it's crazy how much of a difference it's made!!

SO FUNNY that you had your panties inside out!! I really am SO glad I'm not alone here. It's happened quite a few times lately.

  12. Ha how about one Friday I grabbed a pair of jeans out of the dryer and by lunch time I felt something on my foot. A pair of panties had been in the leg of my pants and finally freed themselves! How i didn't feel it I'll never know. Stole a blog idea from ya- but gave ya credit. Your blog is one of the reasons I started blogging!

    1. GET OUT!!! OMG!!! That is TOO funny!! One time my husband played softball with a pair of my panties stuck to the inside of his shorts!!! HAHAHAHA I think the static clinged them together in the dryer (or maybe he's been wearing my undies?! ;) )so when he got home and realized he was praying to GOD no one saw them lol.

Going to read your post now!! Thank you doll!! xoxo

    2. Sadly this thing happened to me too. Pair of panties had been in my pant leg. Fell in the floor at our friends house. They were light blue and rather eh skimpy...husband's friend goes "I think you lost a kleenex" (he was dead serious at first too)

  13. I have to confess I have never watched DD... I should because my family knows their family distantly. One of my friend's husband is related to them and works at the store. He had to grow his beard out to disgusting proportions to get "the look". Ewwwwww! I would imagine you end up with last week's mac and cheese in there sometimes. :)

  15. I pretty much laughed all the way through this.
Girl - I am not ashamed either. Maybe I should start tagging @justintimberlake in my photos so we can be friends...

And the inside out underwear thing happens, I am sure to everyone. If they say it doesn't - they LIE.

I am trying to get my hubby as obsessed with DD as I am - he finally admitted to me that Jase is funny. BOOM. I win.

    Have a great day girl!

  16. You're hysterical. I totally wore leggings inside out under a dress to work one day- which was definitely not as acceptable as wearing your undies inside out! Let's just say I had a beverage one too many the night prior ?? But on a serious note- just noticed a comment about your diet and your skin improving- kiiiind of contemplating trying this out! How long after you started would you say you saw improvements? Very curious! :D

    Thanks girl!

  17. an entertaining blog post is a great reason to do just about anything! and i totally wore mine inside out the other day too.

  18. Totally guilty of the underwear inside out.... repeat offender, actually. Ha...............

  19. It's obvious that you're not alone with the inside out panties and I'm one more to add to the list! Hahaha.

Where oh where did you find that ice cream?! I'm a chocolate snob and pay $6 on the reg for a bag of Ghirardelli that has oh, say...11 pieces of chocolate in it? Yeah...not ashamed. So worth it.

  20. Probably once a week I get to 3 o'clock and realize my undies are inside out :)

    ReplyDelete
  21. I wouldn't think you were normal if you didn't have your panties on inside out at least once a week. I mean, getting dressed in the morning half asleep will do that to you. And I so need to get the deets on the dairy free diet. I think dairy is causing my skin probs too. Were you dealing with acne or rashes? Lemme know. :)

    1. Girllll...acne. BAD! My co-worker who is our the head nurse at my office told me to try it so I did and it has made all the difference in the world! I still get little pimples every so often but NOTHING like it was before!! I'm thinking about writing an entire blog post on it because I know so many other women suffer with the same thing!

    2. Please do!!! I am still getting horrible cystic acne during "that" time of the month!! It SUCKS and I am over it. I am seriously gonna give it a whirl...I just LOVE cheese...I hope I don't die from withdraws!!

  22. I'm two steps away from signing up for Knot again. My friend is getting married and the girl has never used Pinterest, so having creating her wedding board. I think it's only appropriate to take over her knot site, too! I LOVE wedding planning....now 10-year high school reunion planning? That stuff is a bore.
