Hump Day || Bump Day - 22 Weeks

How far along: 22 weeks!

Baby size: Spaghetti squash or papaya, depending on the app you use. Either way-baby is about 11 inches long so for to be a papaya, that's a HUGE papaya...

Baby's progress: Baby is starting to look like a newborn! Her lips, eyelids and eyebrows are becoming more distinct, and she's busy developing her little pancreas!

Weight gain: 11 pounds...that I know of.

Stretch marks: Nothing yet...I ran out of Bio Oil last week so I'm switching to Burt's Bee's Mama Bee to see if I like that better. While I'd recommend the Bio Oil, because I do feel like it made my stomach stretch like elastic, I had to wait a while for it to soak in every morning and if I didn't, it would ruin my clothes. #rookiemove

Sleep: Yes. Except for the typical 3-4 trips to visit the John. Nothing new in this department.

Gender: Paisley Ann :)

Movement: Yes! I actually got a little kick on video last night which was pretty neat!

Best moment this week: Ordering baby girl's crib bedding!! It's so unique and gorgeous and made my heart swell the second I saw it. No lie. I seriously can't wait to show you the full bedding but it's 6 weeks in the making so in the meantime, here's a sneak peek:

Looking forward to: Our babymoon!! And the mini vacation within our vacation that Beau surprised me with on the morning of our anniversary!! I can't wait to tell y'all about it!!

Food cravings: Same as last week. Lemon water, fresh fruit (especially pineapple and green grapes) and all of a sudden...chocolate milk. Oh-and the SPK cravings are back...

Weirdest food I ate this week: Definitely an avocado/mayo/season salt sandy. Never in my life did I think I would resort to something so odd but it was insanely delicious.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope!

Labor Signs: Uh no.

What I miss: Not peeing when I sneeze. It's a real problem, y'all.

Symptoms: I had awful headaches towards the end of last week but at LAST...I picked up some peppermint oil, used it on Sunday for the first time and they haven't been back! PRAISE JESUS!! Those throbbing headaches are something else... If you know anyone suffering with pregnancy headaches, I highly recommend peppermint oil!

Workouts: Still going twice/week and on walks with my Oakie Bear. This week, I've been so busy no workouts have happened nor will they be happening.

Things that suck: Being an overpacker to begin with and now, an overpacker with a growing butt, boobs, belly and thighs. Not to mention-a plethora of panties and shorts thanks to the pee sneezes I mentioned earlier. (Possibly TMI but I just find it to be the weirdest thing ever...) At least I've narrowed it down to 6 pairs of shoes. #glasshalffull

Things that don't suck: Having a group of girlfriends pregnant with you all at the same time! I know this is terrible quality but it's just so much fun going through this with these girls!!

  7. The measurements depend on whether the site goes by the head to butt or head to toe measurements. I think until 20-some weeks, it is pretty standard to measure from head to butt, not head to toe. Your other app might have started earlier, hence the spaghetti squash vs. papaya measurements.

Peeing when you sneeze only gets worse. Eventually, it'll be when you cough, too.

  11. You look so cute bunny!! :)
I sneezed in Lowe's yesterday. It was not cool. I feel like anyone around me must "know" because I feel my eyes open wide as saucers when it happens. Just hurry up and mix my paint so I can get out of here...

  14. I love the fabric! Did you order bumpers? I was so anti bumper until.... I had a baby haha.... I had to get some custom made when Ford was 6 months because he would roll everywhere and get stuck. He LOVES them and cozies up to them as a pillow. I will for sure order them beforehand next time!
