Squeezing In A Little Girl Time

Some of you consider yourselves to be fashion bloggers. Others, mommy bloggers. And a large population of you, foodie bloggers. Me? I don't fall into any of these categories. I know nothing about the latest red carpet trends. I have no children (unless husbands and dogs count?). And while I'd love to pretend to be a food blogger, I just don't have time or the necessary skills to ever make it in that department.

That being said, I have finally established myself in this little blog world of ours. Fashion, mommy and food bloggers...step aside. The Cocktail Blogger community is here to stay. We're the kidless bunch with nothing better to do than sip cocktails for the sake of our blogs. Yes we enjoy it. And yes we may need liver transplants by the time we're 35 but someone's gotta test out new products and announce them to the world and that someone just so happens to be me.

Just as with makeup or any other finds I come across, this here...is no different.

This Friday afternoon, a truck full of camouflage, shotguns and scruffy men pulled out of my driveway at 5pm (happy hunting season, ladies!) so like any sane woman would do...at 5:01pm, I declared it "Girls Night In". No boys. No bars. No tabs. Just good ol' fashioned girl time.

While I usually prefer to stock my bar with my favorite vodka or wine, I decided to change up the mix this go 'round with something you may have heard of or seen but never actually tried (guilty)...

Let's just say they had me at "ALCOHOL IS IN IT!"

No mixing. No shaking. No un-corking. You literally just freeze and squeeze. 

With 13 different flavors, from Peach Daiquiri (my FAVE!) to Bahama Mama, these little gems made the most perfect addition to our Girls Night In! There was NO mess involved, they tasted amazing and since we're still celebrating summer in the Lone Star State, the frozen goodness was just what we needed after a long, hot week!

Being the adult form of a juice pouch, I can already tell these babies will be in our cooler come next summertime and make many trips to the Frio River with us! Heck-since they're so flat and discrete, no tellin' where these things might go with me...football games, grocery shopping, Christmas shopping, rodeo...the possibilities are endless (Hey, I never said I was a good influence...)
