2 Birds. 1 Stone. (Not to be confused with "2 Girls. 1 Cup.")

Linking up with my boo, Kristen, today for her Christmas Card Link Up!

For this year's Christmas card, I went for both festive and functional. We decided to kill two birds with one stone when it came to our card and I must say, I'm okay with that.

Enter the Christmas card turned new address announcement.

BOOM.
Photobucket

I'd like to think people read this as:
"Merry Christmas! Here's our address...send us gifts!"

(Ok so maybe I'm kidding about the gifts part and the new address is obviously covered up for security purposes but you get the point.)

We thought it was fitting and when you send out THIS many cards at once, it might as well serve it's purpose.
That would be 157, to be exact. #shootme

PS: does anyone know of a company that will handstamp and address all your Christmas cards for you? I'm willing to pay for that. And if there's not, I'm sure it's a untapped market so for any of you entrepreneurs out there...GET ON THAT.

Anywhoooo...

What I'm trying to say is Merry Christmas from Beau and I! We hope your holidays are filled with love, laughter and one-too-many pieces of pecan pie. After all, that's what the holidays are about, right?! ;)

  1. Love your card - great idea about the address change! I got my Xmas cards @ TinyPrints and there was an option at checkout for them to address AND mail them out for me - I didn't have 157 so I didn't take advantage of that feature, but I think you could have used it!

  5. Cardstore.com will address and stamp your cards. They have fantastic deals on very nice designer cards too. I discovered them after I already ordered our cards. Darn! Very cute card btw!

  8. Seriously, Steph?!?!? And here I thought OUR new home Christmas card was clever. Love, love, love the card. And 157? I don't think I even know that many people. I cut mine down from 100 to 40 this year. Pretty sure I am on a lot of people sh*t lists for not sending them to our entire wedding guest list. Christmas cards are too dang expensive.

Merry Christmas to you and the hubs! xo

PS - I feel like y'all have been packing for 6 years. Are you done yet?!

  13. Love the card! Hope the move goes well :)

Shutterfly had the option to address the cards for us this year, but we didn't have enough to try it out.

  14. I'm all for killing multiple birds with one stone! Great idea. Super cute pics. Yeah, that's a lot of cards to address. I've only heard of it for Wedding invites etc when you do it straight through the co as you order. If you don't do that you can do labels on the computer. Better then handwriting.

  17. Love the cards! We are doing something like that this year but it's going to be a "Happy New Year btw we moved" card. The new address won't be official until after Christmas so we decided to put off the usual cards this year. Also, I ordered cards two years ago and I just put in all the addresses and paid for stamps and the company shipped everything straight from there! They sent me a copy of our card for free too :)

  18. we were doing the exact same thing, ours said "Merry Christmas from our New Home" with out new address.... however we didn't send them out in time so I am re-printing with "happy new year from our new home" haha.
