I don't ask for much in this life. A pillow to lay my head on, clean clothes to wear, food on the table, a best friend to call my husband and a good cup of coffee.
Ok that's a lie. And my husband would totally disagree. I do ask for a lot in life...like a pretty bed to go with said pillow, new dresses, shoes and tops to wear on a weekly basis, healthy (and sometimes a leeeetle pricey) food to go on the table and a nice, warm cup of coffee made by that husband of mine which consists of far too much french vanilla coffee creamer, comes in the most adorable Anthropology mug, and is hand delivered to me in my bathroom as I apply my makeup. Keeper, I know.
While I thought this hand-delivered coffee couldn't possibly get any better, was I ever so wrong.
Gimme a new Keurig® Brewing System...
Toss in a couple of Fair Trade K-Cup packs from Green Mountain Coffee®, specifically the classic Colombian flavor or the exotic Nantucket Blend (LOVE!)...
Yes. My first Keurig experience happened one week ago. Late to the party, per usual, but this, my friends, is instant gratification at its absolute finest and if you're anything like me, constantly on the go and the most impatient person in the world, you too, can fully understand why this makes my little heart just siiiiing! (See? > La la la la laaaaaa!)
Coffee drinkers of America: am I right or am I right that there is little to nothing that compares to a good...and I mean a gooooood cup of coffee that you don't have to wait 15 minutes to brew?
I'm right. I know. And you, Mr. Keurig, are a flipping genius.
And even better than that is the fact that Fair Trade coffee from Green Mountain Coffee® provides farmers with better coffee bean prices, giving us a better quality coffee at a reasonable price which keeps coffee guzzlers like myself buying more and keeps these coffee bean farmers in business. Environmental friendliness at it's best. Win/win/win. Yes.
Are you a "Keurigger"? (What are your favorite K-cup pack flavors?!)
And most importantly, Are you a coffee drinker, and if so, would you consider buying fair trade coffee?

I always try to buy fair trade coffee when I can and I LOVE green mountain...our Keurig is on it's way out and I would LOVE to win a new one!
ReplyDeleteI confess that the Nantucket Blend and Caramel Vanilla are my current faves!
I am a Keuriger! I do love fair trade coffee. It tastes better and it's great for everyone involved. L.o.v.e.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE my Keurig, and am a complete green mountain devotee! :) Breakfast blend is my fave.
ReplyDeleteI love Green Mountain Coffee too, I try to buy fair trade when possible and always hit the local convenience store when out and about because they use green mountain in their coffee machines! I do not currently have a Keurig, but would love to own one and always get excited to use one at others homes or when we stay in hotels with one in the room!! (It's the little things in life!) I am definitely a coffee drinker and enjoy a cup in the morning while getting ready as well, although I am the one to bring the cups to my husband, I love the morning routine of this first cup in our shared bathroom while getting prepared for the day and sharing conversations together!
ReplyDeleteI was a Keuriger, but mine just recently broke! And this poor college student sure can't afford a new one!! I love Green Mountain blueberry and pumpkin flavors, and the breakfast blend is great too! I would definitely consider buying fair trade coffee!
ReplyDeleteI really want a Keurig! I love Green Mountain and think buying fair trade coffee is so important!!
ReplyDeleteI have just recently started to be a coffee lover and now I am hooked!! I try to buy fair trade coffee whenever possible because like you said its a win/win! I would love to wake up to a house smelling of yummy coffee coming from my amazing Keurig..if I could afford one on a college student budget..
ReplyDeleteYes, yes and yes! I am a coffee addict. I would totally buy Fair Trade coffee, I love supporting something knowing it's helping everyone involved. I have only had the Breakfast Blend, but some of those flavors sure do sound yummy!

I LOVE coffee and would definitely buy Fair Trade! You should try Coffeemate's Coconut Creme creamer! It is AMAZING :)
ReplyDeleteI would love to have a Keurig for my coffee fanatic hubs!
ReplyDeleteI use a keurig at church but haven't bought one for the home yet. I think it would look beautiful in my new house and on my new kitchen cabinets!!! We use the green mountain k-cups at church. So yummy!
ReplyDeleteI love Keurigs and green mountain coffee! I didn't realize they were fair trade coffee. Love that they offer that option, will have to look out for it now. My favorite flavors are the hazelnut and dark magic :)
ReplyDeleteI've been lusting over a Keurig for awhile now, it won't be long before I take the plunge. Since working in a coffee shop in college I try to buy fair trade as often as I can.
ReplyDeleteLoving the pod revolution!
ReplyDeleteNo, but I would love to be :) and yes, yes. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI don't own a Keurig but I would love to have one! I am the only coffee drinker in my home so it makes much more sense to only make one cup at a time... which is often not ideal for traditional coffee makers. I would definitely buy Green Mountain Coffee if I had a Keurig!
ReplyDeleteI was one of the last ones of my friends to jump on the K-Cup bandwagon! I was so stuck on my coffeemate coffee maker, even though I was just making enough in the huge pot for just one cup for me in the morning! I finally decided it was time to come outside of my box and boy do I love that machine! I also love the fact you can buy the adapter and fill it yourself using regular grounds! That was one thing I was worried about was the price of the K-cups! I was very happy with my decision to convert over!
ReplyDeleteWould love to own a Keurig!! Yes I love coffee and would absolutely buy fair trade:)
ReplyDeleteI'm convinced Keurig's are one of the best kitchen appliances ever. Mine has been well-loved and is hanging on by a thread (as in it has already been resuscitated multiple times). My morning just isn't the same without it! I'll have to try the Green Mountain Fair Trade. LOVE the concept behind it!
ReplyDeletei have not yet owned a keurig, but i think i need to! i loooove coffee, especially in the fall with all those awesome spicy, pumpkiny, cinnamony flavors. and that keurig guy was a smarty! i don't know much about fair trade coffee, but i think it's time i do my research.
ReplyDeleteI have not owned a Keurig but my first job out of college had one in the office and it was heaven sent! Tea, coffee, hot chocolate...no wonder everyone took so many coffee breaks! :)
ReplyDeleteGreen Mountain Coffee, Nantucket is hands down thee best coffee you can buy! Both my husband and I love it. I would die without my Keurig. Life.saver.
ReplyDeleteI absolutley LOVE Keurig but I have been too cheap to buy one. I have it on my Christmas list now, but for a single gal, this would be perfect. 1 cup while I get ready in the morning and no waste! Plus Green Mountain Coffee is my fav!! I had it at a hotel with the COlumbian flavor.. to die for :)
ReplyDeleteI have wanted a keuring forever!!! I love the green mountain coffe :)
ReplyDeleteI don't have a Keurig, although I have seriously been considering it lately! My boyfriend and I both love our coffee, especially if it is Fair Trade! It would be so fun to try all of the different blends that they offer!
ReplyDeleteI do not have a Keurig, but it is definitely on my wish list! I love coffee and let's face it owning a Keurig would replace my oh, so necessary (see expensive) trips to Starbucks! Love the idea of supporting Fair Trade coffee from Green Mountain as it benefits not only the producer (farmer) but the consumer too! Winning! :)
ReplyDeleteI have a mini Keurig, but I would love to upgrade to the one like you have shown above! My husband is the coffee drinker, but I really like the hot chocolate and apple cider K-cups.
ReplyDeleteI also tweeted about this amazing giveaway as well! :)

ReplyDeleteYes and yes :)
ReplyDeleteYes, I have one of the mini Keurig, but would love to get this larger one! Me and my husband are both coffee drinkers and cannot go a day without one.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite K-Cups are the Hazelnut from Dunkin Donuts and I would totally buy Fair Trade coffee!!

ReplyDeleteYes, I am most definitely a coffee lover! My favorite K-cups are the Chocolate Raspberry Truffle coffee flavor... it's like healthy dessert for breakfast :) And I would buy fair trade.... forgot to answer the last question, oops
ReplyDeleteI don't have a Keurig but I have used them. There was this toffee flavored K-Cup that was so good! I drink one cup a day and am all about buying Fair Trade.
ReplyDeleteI love my morning coffee and I love a Keurig!! I love the Dunkin Donuts K-Cups...ANY flavor is delicious!
ReplyDeleteLove the Keurig! My favorite K Cups are the Starbucks Blonde and any tea variety from Tazo. Definitely would & DO purchase fair trade coffee.
ReplyDeleteBest giveaway ever!!! Yes, I absolutely agree with what Fair Trade coffee is doing and completely support them! My husband and I are farmers, and I know first hand that you have to put more money into a product to make it the best it can be...and sometimes we don't get compensated for that because of "market prices." We grow better product that we're very proud of, but unfortunately the price of market does not reflect our efforts. Thank you to Fair Trade for appreciating the farmer :)
ReplyDeleteI love coffee...I drink it every day!! I don't have a Keurig, but I've contemplated buying one. And I try to buy fair trade! It's the right thing to do!
ReplyDeleteI love coffee. I have been wanting a Keurig! If I had a Keurig I would go straight for the Dunkin Donuts K-cups!

ReplyDeleteI don't have a Keurig but I am pretty sure I need one!
ReplyDeleteI don't have a Keurig but I do have a single serve coffee machine and it is amazing! I like to think it is the closest thing to actually getting my coffee through an IV *dream of mine*...haha
ReplyDeleteI don't drink coffee often as I don't have time to brew it with my crazy toddler running around. I love the ease of my parents though.. Fresh coffee, iced tea and hot cider.. Yum!
ReplyDeleteI am a huge coffee drinker! My Nespresso is one of my most prized possesions! :-)
ReplyDeleteYour husband sounds like a darling.

I love the fair trade movement that Green Mountain and Kelly Clarkson are doing. Coffee is such a huge consumer. My GM favorites are Nantucket and Dark Magic. I've been meaning to try that Colombia one! Awesome giveaway :)
ReplyDeleteKeurig AND fair trade coffee from Green Mountain Coffee - best giveaway ever! I love coffee and would absolutely buy fair trade.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
I'm slowly learning to like coffee! :) It's a work-in-progress, but I'd love to win this and would definitely buy fair trade!
ReplyDeleteI'm a certified coffee addict. The Starbucks by my office starts making my drink right when i walk through the door (A+ customer service over there). On weekend mornings when I can't be bothered to go around the block for my iced venti I use the Green Mountain iced K-cups....you MUST try them! You just brew it the way you normally would over a cup filled with ice. Super easy & yummy :)
ReplyDeleteI'm with you...I've never experienced a K-cup coffee! I know it's about time. My wallet and my waistline are getting abused by the Starbucks next to my office. A Kourig would be great for the house to set while I'm gettng ready in the mornings. I'd buy anything that supports the great country I live in or gives others a chance to prosper.
ReplyDeleteI love Keurig! We usually buy the Folgers Colimbian mostly because its the hubs favorite. But I definitely buy fair trade every once in a while.
ReplyDeleteI am a retired Keurigger, gave it to my sister when I moved. I'm ready to jump back on the bandwagon...Does fair trade come in decaf? That's been my latest squeeze.
ReplyDeleteyes! I like the green mountain pumpkin spice but like to change it up every now and then.
ReplyDeleteWe have a Keurig and LOVE it. I use Amazon to order our K-cups because I can set it up to auto ship them once a month {or however often you want} so that I never run out of coffee :-)
ReplyDeleteYes! I don't have one, but my work does, and I am pretty much obsessed with vermont country blend, and gingerbread in the winter! Pumpkin spice is also yummy. And absolutely I would consider buying fair trade coffee..duh!
ReplyDeleteI want a Keurig so bad especially with the cooler months coming!
ReplyDeleteDon't have a Keurig but would love to try one!! I'm definitely a coffee drinker- love trying different kinds.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely agree with what fair trade coffee is doing and completely support them! My husband and I are buying a home and should close within the next week, this would be the best house warming gift!! We love French vanilla k cup coffees. Thanks for the #sweepstakesEntry
ReplyDeleteMechelle
I do not have a Keurig, but I do want one. But not for coffee. I love teas!
ReplyDeleteLOVE coffee and I always try to purchase Fair Trade. We have a super old Keurig that we got for free as a hand me down from some friends and it is on its last leg, but I won't let my husband get rid of it because I love it!!
ReplyDeleteWe have not jumped on the Keurig bandwagon yet, but have just started talking about getting one! I'd probably just buy whatever was on sale...cheap...I know!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a Keurigger, yet! But I would love to be one! Heck, I think I need to be one. We only drink fair trade coffee in our house.
ReplyDeleteThe Keurig we got last Christmas has been AMAZING!! I think the same thing ("what did I ever do without this") every time I use it!!
ReplyDeleteI do enjoy a good cup of coffee, and the Keurig is perfect because I am the only one who drinks it, and only have about 1 cup a day. I do like Green Mountain coffee. Their Pumpkin Spice is good and they also have a Gingerbread that is pretty tasty. I have been wanting to try the Wild Blueberry...I hear it's good, but I can't imagine blueberry flavored coffee...ha!
ReplyDeleteI also tweeted about the giveaway :)

My husband and I looooove our Kuerig (though its basically an antique now since we jumped on the wagon so early=) We most often bounce in between Green Mountain Columbian and an Marley Coffee's "One Love" and "Get up Stand Up" both of which are fair trade. Love the Columbian but sometimes when I want to imagine myself on back on our honeymoon in Jamaica, Marley coffee comes in clutch=)
ReplyDeleteWe don't have a kuerig but every chance I get to use one I jump on it. My
ReplyDeleteHusband is a coffee drinker but I know if I could brew me a cup just for me me me I would love it. Fair trade coffee is important. Thank you for bringing this opportunity to the readers.
I'm a Keurigger (I like that word!) when I'm over at someone's house (or the bank, or wherever) that has one! I, sadly, don't have one. I am a coffee drinker and I already buy fair trade when I can!
ReplyDeleteI love Keurig's. We do not have one right now, I love that the K-cup brews the perfect amount and you can brew coffee/tea/etc. I love fair trade that is what we buy when we can :)
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love Keurigs! My parents have one and I use it everytime I go for a visit! I've never had fair trade coffee but I would love to try it! Especially if it is helpful for others as well! Coffee finatic over here who would LOVE a keurig!

ReplyDeleteI don't own a Keurig, but would love to! My parents have one and my husband and I always enjoy it at their house. Our favorite is Wawa Pumpkin Spice (it's a local brand) and any of the dark roast k-cups. I prefer fair trade and usually buy Trader Joe's organic, fair trade French roast-so good!

Currently (actually, previously) I was a morning glass of sweet tea drinker!
ReplyDeleteI've wanted a Keurig for SO long! I think the hardest part would be choosing my kind of coffee each morning, but I've heard great things about Green Mountain!
ReplyDeleteWe have a keurig at my work and I LOVE it! Being able to brew what I want when I want it one piping hot cup at time is just awesome. I would love to have one at home....I think my husband would love it even more! There are so many different types of coffee I like...the green mountain breakfast blend and french roast are too favorites. I also love the pumpkin spice they have for the fall season! I am huge coffee drinker and definitely would consider buying fair trade coffee!
ReplyDeleteI love using the Keurig at work and the seasonal flavors are my favorite...mostly the coconut ones! I have bought fair trade coffee a few times and I probably would more often if I could find a bit more variety in flavor options.
ReplyDeleteI think the fair trade idea is great! I don't have a keurig, but have used one plenty of times and would definitely get Green Mountain coffee to see just how good it is.
ReplyDeleteI have yet to try a Keruig but it's been on my pitnerest board birthday list/Christmas list and any other present list you can think of for awhile now!!! I want, want, want and hope to see one grace my kitchen oh so soon! I really hope to get one before having my little nugget in December that way coffee is much simpler for me during my maternity leave! And of course with this beauty I would definitely try Green Mountain Coffee... love you give away!
ReplyDeleteI have a Tassimo Brewbot, which I received as a gift around the same time the keurigs came out. I get so frustrated though because it is so difficult to find retailers that sell their coffee! I need to break down and invest in a keurig and say goodbye to Mr. Brewbot. There are so many more choices with the keurig & would definitely have to give Green Mountain Coffee a try.
ReplyDeleteBeing a recent law school graduate I have learned to live off of coffee. I am a big fan of fair trade, and would be more than happy to try Green Mountain Coffee. This little beauty would make a wonderful friend in my adventure of studying for the Bar Exam.
ReplyDeleteI drink coffee daily--I'm a college student, what do you expect? And I drink a lot of fair trade coffee, especially since that's what my school mainly sells.
ReplyDeleteI have the mini and my recent fav flavor is the southern pecan!

We have a Keurig at work and it gets used constantly. I would love one for home since I'm the only one who drinks coffee. I usually buy dark roast kcups, or Kona blend when I can find it, I try to buy fair trade coffee if I'm torn between two options in the store. freshsamanthaaa@hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteI really want a Keurig, because K cups are so much easier to find than the little discs I have to buy for my Tassimo machine. They also have a lot more flavor options. I would and do buy fair trade coffee sometimes.

I drink coffee at least every morning, and sometimes make more in the evening if the craving hits! I would buy fair trade. I don't have a Keurig, but I think it could become my favorite kitchen appliance! :)

I'm not a coffee drinker, but I love tea. My husband loves both, though. He doesn't like flavored coffees or even any additives. It's black coffee for him. I would definitely consider buying Fair Trade.

I'm not a serious coffee drinker but I absolutely am cognizant of fair trade coffee and I think it is a very important consideration. I am much more serious about the idea of fair trade than coffee, but I like coffee too... hope we can all together support the farmers and their families.

ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I do not own a Keurig machine. I scored a bunch of free K-Cup samples to make a gift basket for a friend. I would probably keep them and use them for myself if I won a machine.
ReplyDeleteI definitely drink coffee when I need a burst of energy and I would love to try Fair Trade coffee. I am definitely for supporting the farmers, especially if I like it.
