Told ya!

I'm baaaaack!

And I passed my test with flying colors! Well, maybe not flying colors but I passed (98 to be exact), which means I still have a job, and since this was my 3rd time to take my company's staff exam, I only have to take it 7 more times and then I will be exempt for the rest of my life. (We have to take it a total of 10 times before we can be exempt from taking it ever again.) Can I get an amen?!

Anyway, I'd love to upload all my Halloween pics but since my iPhone has been a complete moron lately, I had to restore it and re-sync it so it's updating right now and therefore, is taking up my camera cord's only plug. Maybe tomorrow?

In the meantime, I thought I would share with you ladies something I found to be really neat...

I've seen these before in stores but never really paid much attention to it until today when one of the girls at the office got one for her birthday!

Basically, you put in fresh water into a machine, push a little button and POOF! Sparkling water!! The plastic carbonating bottle is BPA free, you don't have to throw away/recycle cans or plastic bottles, you don't have to store big cans or bottles in your fridge and no more lugging heavy bottles home from the grocery store! Umm hello?! This is genius! Throw in my good friend Grey Goose with a twist of lime and this could quite possibly be the best thing since sliced bread!

I don't know how many of you out there have to have that one coke a day but I read a statistic a loooong time ago and never picked up a diet coke ever again.
  • Drinking one soda everyday can pack on an additional 10 pounds per year.
TEN POUNDS!!

Not just that...even if you are one of those teeny tiny, no hips, no butt kinda girl who can drink coke allll day long and not gain an ounce...the sugar, aspartame, dextrose, high fructose corn syrup, etc is terrible for your health: your brain, your teeth, your skin, your intestinal tract, your allergies and most definitely, your waistline! ((note to self: this is your blog, Stephanie, not one of your patients. Stop preaching about health.)) Anyways, you get the point and I'm off to add the SodaStream to our wedding registry!

...just thought I'd share for all you health-conscious readers out there! ;)

p.s.-"Hi!" to all my new followers and thank you ALL for wishing me luck on my test!! Means a LOT! xoxo

  3. Congrats on passing the test!! I've wanted a sodastream for the longest time. I rarely ever drink soda - it's too sweet for me. I'm a big fan of seltzer (maybe with a little Crystal Lite). It's on the list of things we have to get off our registry. :)
