First Comes Love, Then Comes Marriage...

A very imporant video. About a very important topic...

You know...Bebes. Nuggets. Spawn. Offspring....

xoxo ;)

Editing the last few pictures for my final wedding recap (the reception) is taking for-freaking-ever...so I apologize...but I promise I WILL complete the whole wedding talk this week! (You know...because I totally planned on completely it just in time for our 6 month anniversary...And yes-we're totally celebrating that.)

  1. I love this! We're not even married yet and people have asked when we plan on having kids!?! Some people are just crazy -- who are they to butt into your personal life and ask

  2. Thank you, thank you, thank you! We just had our 6 month anniversary and more than ever, everyone wants to know when we're gonna start popping out kids. I'm so over the polite answers. I'm glad to know someone else feels the same way!

  3. Everything you said is so TRUE!!! I'm totally with you!

My mother-in-law and my father-in-law keep asking us when we are going to have a baby. And every time, we say that it's not in a NEAR FUTURE! But they keep asking! ANNOYING! Gggrrrr!!!

  4. OMG I love this!!! Especially the dog comment - I always use that excuse.

  5. So when are you going to have kids?????

    seriously. when?

and when on God's green Earth would you NOT drink if you were not pregnant????

I don't get that at all.

  6. meant *why* on God's green Earth

  7. steph you are hilarious! i laughed throughout this entire thing!! when you said beau was enough for a dog and twin girls, i couldn't stop laughing!! thanks for brightening my day girl!!

  8. This is too funny! I'm not even married and I get the question of when I'm going to have kids quite often! My answer is always "When you decide that you want to babysit 24/7 without getting paid!" Maybe you guys should start with a dog first! lol

  9. thiiiiis is HILARIOUS!
I've got SERIOUS tears in my eyes & my tummy hurts!!!!

Seriously, this is my FAVORITE VIDEO EVER!

    I love you Stephanie!

  10. Oh my goodness, I LOVE this!! GAH, I am SO tired of people asking me when we are going to have kids & all that!! Good grief, just because I am 23 & married does not mean I have to have a baby asap! cause it ain't happening. We have a dog & that is enough. Heck, the husband is enough sometimes ha! We want to have fun together & enjoy our time together right now.

    grr...but its blocked at work

ill be adding this to a reminder to watch later

i see that its about babies and I was hoping it was a video of you being like 'guys...im having a baby' and then u jump up and down and do the dougie

but then i saw all the comments and appaaaarantly im way wrong...and appaaarantly the video has soemthign to do with the fact that you're married and people keep asking about you guys having kids hahah WOOPSIE my B

but yall would make some good looking kids

  12. Your video just made my day! I can say AMEN to this entire post! I am constantly asked if I'm pregnant and it is driving me crazy! Just because I don't want to drink doesn't mean I'm with child. People are so baby crazy....I just don't get it!

  13. Peanuts & Hash Browns...Drink all day everyday....BAHAHAHA suriously laughed out loud while watching.

I totally try not to ask my friends once they are married, because I KNOW everyone asks. I can ONLY imagine what it's like. Why are we people so nosy?!?!? If you were prego you would have to share the info sometime right?!?!?

    Happy Thursday!

  14. BEST.VIDEO.EVER. Perfectly stated. Thank you Steph! SO TRUE.

  15. This is the BEST video I've ever seen haha! I am 26 and just like you, not interested yet. To be honest, pregnant people scare me. Their stomachs are disturbing ha. My husband mentioned about having kids one day (not now...just one day), and I "got sick"... literally... I'm not kidding...

  16. Haha oh you should hear what people say to me... It's a sin to be married almost 3 and a half years and not have a baby. Or be pregnant. OR be trying. I always tell people if they'll pay the bills I'll have a baby ;)

  17. AMEN TO THIS! And I can tell you, over three years into marriage...they're STILL asking. Here's also some food for thought...if I go into work and say, "We're trying to get pregnant!" everyone says, "Awwww, congrats! That's so exciting!" But if I go into work and say, "I just had REALLY great sex last night!" everyone would say, "Ummm, ew, TMI." Riddle me that?!?!

Lastly, no, it's not anyone's business when we're going to start trying either. They really don't need to know when my husband and I are going to start having unprotected sex. How doe they even think it's ANY of their business!

Thanks for sharing the video...I'm gonna share it on my blog today. MUAH!

  18. OMG! I can't believe it's 6 months! Great rant...I have a feeling I'll be adapting this in about 24 days.

  19. Hahahaha. I love this!!! I'm 24 and have been married for over 5 years. Everyone always asks when we are having kids and I hate having to explain myself! I worked at a children's clothing store and myself and other coworkers, even girls who were so skinny you KNEW they were not pregnant, were asked if we were pregnant. Um hello! Just because I work at a baby store doesn't mean we are all going to get knocked up! =) thanks for video, it was hilarious!!

  20. Haha you always crack me up! The lady I nanny for had her last child at 40. She always tells me to wait to have kids. I will not be waiting until I am 40 either, but not as soon as we gett married either. I feel like so many people want to have kids young and lalala... I don't think people realize of what a huge lifestyle change it really is.

“Hey…what do ya say we make a kid tonight?” bahahahaha

(did you drink some wine before making this video? hehe)

Drink...all day, every day, apparently! :)

  24. OMFG! So my hubby and I are married 6 months tomorrow and EVERYONE keeps asking us if we are pregnant or trying blah blah blah! Enough already! Thank you for posting this!

  25. I can't watch this at work right now, but I can't WAIT to right after work. YESSSS.

    I just love your videos.

I'm like...I'm 25. We're barely able to get top ramen most days so why the hell would I bring a child in this world right now?

Maybe when we can afford to actually afford to make gourmet food...like spaghetti or something will I be wanting chitlens. Ya heard?

Seriously though. YOU. ARE. NOT. ALONE.

    Babies schmabies. They're EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!

    Just not here. Muhahahahahaw.

  27. i agree you are NOT alone. we've been celebrating every single month too..no worries!

  28. wow - you need to calm down and take a chill pill. you always come across as so aggro and negative

  29. I just stumbled across your blog from My Two Cents Before I Spend It- you are hilarious. I'm only 21 years old and people I went to high school with are already married and pregnant- WHY? Babies are too permanent for me to even think about in the next 10 years.

  30. Hahahaha. I love love love this!!!! We have been asked SO SO many times since we got married. It's insane!

  31. Well I think you are one of the most positive people i know. I also know that you write this blog for family, friends and most of all us too look back on, as a reminder on how wonderful our past was. I think that if someone reads it and doesn't care for what you have to say, then don't read it and keep your opinions of people you don't know to your self.

  33. I so loved this! Being a 25 year old, who by the way is not even married yet, I get the "so when are you having kids" question all the time. Why do people care so much? I've never understood that. So thank you for that video, I can relate!

  34. bahahahahhaha i loved this video. you're awesome!
