Can you believe someone so young, so incredibly talented is only 21?!
Someone who writes all of her own songs but has never really known how to read music?!
Today is lil' miss Taylor's 21st birthday.
If you haven't figured it out by now, I'm just as starstruck over Taylor Swift as the tu-tu wearing 9 year old screaming at her concert. I've loved her since day one and to this day she has yet to let me down!
She's so fabulously classy to be so young and that truly is someone worth looking up to (or would I look down to her since she's younger than me??)
Anyway, Beau & I thought it would be more than appropriate to send her a Christmas card and don't worry, Taylor, you will get a wedding invitation as well. (Now I would never expect her to dismiss her busy tour schedule for our measly wedding but I figure, hey, I've got nothing to lose so I might as well throw it out there, right??!) Ok and to be honest, Beau didn't really have the idea of sending her a Christmas card...he's just gotten pretty good at agreeing with whatever I say without making me feel nuts...and that's why I love him...
Oh yea...and he thoroughly agreed it would be a good idea to send one to Kellie as well...so I did.
Although I have never met her, I did meet her dad who gave us pit passes to her concert where we were close enough to literally see the hairs on her arm. Proof here!
SOOO-you can bet your sweet @$$ there will be a little Taylor played at the wedding. I mean, does a bride wear white?! I think YES... and I'll leave you with the string quartet version of "Love Story"-that of which Beau and I will be exiting our ceremony to. <3
Aww I love Kellie .. Too cool you are sending her a Christmas card! :) Have a good night!
ReplyDeletethat's a good idea. i should start sending my celeb crushes cards. and i think it's neat idea to have that song as you exit. :)
ReplyDeleteI had a friend send one of her graduation invites to the president. He didn't come, but he did send her a congratulatory letter, picture, and some other things. It was neat!
ReplyDeleteI love that song, by the way!
So cute. Why not send a card or invite. People send wedding invites to the White House all the time so that they can get a letter from the office of the president. Why not to stars as well. You never know what the response will be. ;)
ReplyDeleteAlso - I LOVE LOVE Kellie Pickler!!! I'm not a crier, but her version of "I wonder" at the awards show?? I.was.bawling!! She's so silly too - she cracks me up.
So cute that you sent them Xmas cards! I love them both, too :)
