The Power of Prayer

My precious and only living grandfather was recently diagnosed with colon cancer. {{Grrr you fast growing, dividing cells-WHY??!!}} He's 82 and is as Italian as they come. Short build. Large nose. Hot temper. Looks like he just walked out of the Godfather-just adorable!

Ladies, lock up your grandmas! He's single! :)
Luckily, the mass is only in one spot so we are positive it can be removed and he will move right on with his life. We all know the surgeries and treatments will be a tough go 'round for him but this is where his Italian stubborness will be used to his benefit. :)

I know the power of prayer can make a huge impact on absolutely anything so if you pray, please include my adorable Papaw. He has 5 strong, wonderful daughters {{one being my mom!}} and a few handfuls of fabulous grandkids {{me-duh!!}}

Papaw in the front, of course!
My family and I would really your thoughts and prayers right now.

  9. Dear God,
    Please keep watch over Steph's Papaw while he goes through his treatments. Help her and her family to be strong for him, and strong for each other. Help his doctors to provide excellent medical care for him and to help him to the other side of his treatments with grace.
    In your name we pray... Amen.

  11. Your papaw is a very handsome fellow! :)
    I hate this for you and your family! I have been through it with my Nana! Praying for God to lay his healing hand upon your papaw and to give you and your family the strength and hope to get through this and to help HIM get through this. Stay positive and SMILEY as can be when you are with him....it means the world to them! My Nana was single when she was diagnosed as well and only had US to lean on (she was divorced most of my life and never even thought about remarrying) I just remember she was always my rock to turn too sooo I think it is thee least we could do for them, you know?

    Lifting your family up in prayer! If you need ANYTHING holler at me!
